Prospect Juniors was formed in April 2001 with two teams who had played together previously under another name. Since then the club has expanded to include the following age groups: U10’s ,U12’s, U14’s, U16’s, (2009/10 season). We also have 1 Open Age team. Despite fairly minimal efforts to promote the club, our membership numbers have steadily increased to over 150, we are regularly attracting players from well established local sides in both the Bradford and Leeds area.



The club exists for the enjoyment and improvement of its members. We aim to provide a safe, friendly but challenging environment in which children are able to develop their football skills to the best of their ability. Players are encouraged to compete in a sporting manner and to be self - disciplined at all times. We have a structured Management Committee and a strong club ethos. Parents are regularly informed by newsletter and are encouraged to be actively involved.




Training is on Saturday 10am - 12 at Apperley Bridge Playing Fields and also at Thackley FC during the winter. We have been fortunate in securing use of the University of Bradford Sports Ground at Woodhall for most of our home fixtures. These facilities are of a very high standard and we are grateful to the University and their ground staff for looking after us so well.
